Shaurya Vedanam Utsav:

  • In Bihar, in Motihari in the East Champaran district, the three services are hosting the Shaurya Vedanam Utsav.
  • The two-day event was organised under the “Know Your Force” campaign at Gandhi Maidan in Motihari.
  • Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan inaugurated the event.
  • To instill a sense of patriotism among the youth, the event has been organised in a border area near the Indo-Nepal border.
  • The event aims to educate and inspire citizens by showcasing the dedication, discipline, and strength of the Indian Armed Forces.

March 8: International Women’s Day.

  • The day is observed globally on March 8 every year to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
  • The theme for 2025 is “Rights for all women and girls. Equality. Empowerment”.
