Tamil 99 Keyboard:

  • An order has been issued that new students joining typing schools across Tamil Nadu will now be trained only with the ‘Tamil 99’ keyboard.
  • ‘Tamil 99’ is the Tamil keyboard approved by the Tamil Nadu government. The only keyboard used for English all over the world.
  • Tamil 99 is a keyboard layout approved by the Tamil Nadu government.
  • A layout with several monolingual and bilingual fonts for use with the Tamil language, it was approved by a government order on 13 June 1999.

March 13: World Kidney Day.

  • World Kidney Day is celebrated on the second Thursday of March,
  • This year it will be observed on March 13, 2025.
  • To create awareness about kidney health, reduce the suffering of people suffering from kidney disease, and emphasize kidney protection.

  1. The Central Government has imposed an anti-dumping duty on trichloroisocyanuric acid, a water purification chemical imported from China and Japan.
