Tamil 99 Keyboard:
- An order has been issued that new students joining typing schools across Tamil Nadu will now be trained only with the ‘Tamil 99’ keyboard.
- ‘Tamil 99’ is the Tamil keyboard approved by the Tamil Nadu government. The only keyboard used for English all over the world.
- Tamil 99 is a keyboard layout approved by the Tamil Nadu government.
- A layout with several monolingual and bilingual fonts for use with the Tamil language, it was approved by a government order on 13 June 1999.
