15^th Aero India Exhibition:

• The 15th Aero India Exhibition will be held in Bengaluru from 10^th February to 14^th
• This year, the theme of Aero India is ‘Runway to a Billion Opportunities’.
• This biennial event is organized by the Defence Exhibition and Convention Centre of the Defence Production Department under the Union Ministry of Defence.
• For the first time, the fifth-generation fighter aircraft, Russia’s SU-57 and the US F-35, will participate in the event.

Archaeological Survey carried out at 20 Places Including Keezhadi, Sivakali:

• Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has said that excavations are being carried out continuously at 20 places including Keezhadi, Sivakali and Adichanallur in Tamil Nadu.
• From 2020 to 2024, excavation works are being carried out at 20 locations including Sendrayanpalayam in Thiruvallur district, Keezhadi in Sivaganga district, Sivagalai in Thoothukudi district, Adichanallur, Korkai, and Kodumanal in Erode district.
• The Archaeological Survey of India started excavation works at Keezhadi from 2014 to 2016.
• The State Archaeological Survey is carrying out excavation works at Kodumanal in Erode district in 2020 and Mayiladumbarai in Krishnagiri district in 2020 and 2021.
