SBI PO is a three-tier exam i.e. preliminary exam, main exam followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Following is the expected exam pattern of SBI PO 2021 according to the previous year’s notification.

Candidates have to qualify for the test by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. There will be no sectional cutoff. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) are shortlisted for the Main Examination.
Main Examination consists of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests is online. Candidates have to answer the Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of the Objective Test, Descriptive Test is administered.

The objective test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections for total 200 marks. The objective test has separate timing for every section. The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks is a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank. Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in the objective test.
The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test are arranged in descending order in each category. The adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank are called for Group Exercises and Interview. The qualifying marks in Group Exercises & Interview are decided by the Bank.

The basic salary of SBI SO, as mentioned in SBI SO 2018 Official Notification is Rs. 23700. Also, the SBI Probationary Officer gets 4 advanced increments of ₹980 which are added to his basic salary which finally amounts to ₹27620. Apart from the basic salary, an SBI SO also receives Dearness Allowance, City Compensation Allowance (CCA) and Special Allowance which, when added to the basic salary, amount to approximately ₹43307

All the candidates who are willing to apply for the SBI Clerk Recruitment, need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the recruitment.
As per the official notification released by SBI, candidates should have attained a minimum of 20 years of age, and should not exceed the age of 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02nd April 1993 and not later than 01st April 2001. (a) He/she must hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
(b) Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
(c) Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is required for the SBI Clerk exam.
• The pay scale of SBI Clerk has been revised by SBI this year and the new pay scale of SBI Clerk is ₹17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. Earlier, the pay scale was 11765-655/3-13730-815/3-16175-980/4-20095-1145/7-28110- 2120/1- 30230-1310/1-31450.
• This means that the starting basic salary for a candidate will be ₹17900/- with a year-on-year increment of ₹1000/- with the Basic pay while the Maximum Basic Salary of an SBI Clerk ₹47,920.
• The In-Hand Salary of SBI Clerk will include the approximate amount a candidate gets after the deductions. The starting salary of SBI Clerk is between the range of ₹26000 to ₹29000/-.

In case of dual specialisations, one of the fields of specialisation should be in the field prescribed. In case of major / minor specialisations, major specialisation should be in the stream prescribed. Candidates having PG Degree (MMS or MBA) / PG Diploma with more than two specialisations are not eligible to apply.
NOTE : For posts other than IT Officer Scale I: Candidates should have Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / Language / should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School / College / Institute.
As per the IBPS SO 2020 Notification, the salary of a person appointed as a Specialist Officer in IBPS varies from ₹36,000 to ₹64,000. Candidates are advised to consider this year’s official notification which is yet to be released.

There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in both preliminary as well as mains exam. However, there is no penalty for unattempted questions.

The recruitment process will take in 3 phases, namely, Preliminary exam, the Main exam which will be a test of professional knowledge for the particular stream and the phase III is the Interview Round. The following is the IBPS Clerk Mains cut off for CRP-IX released with the final result on 20 May 2020.
IBPS Clerk cut-off will be out after the examination. However, cut-off can be predicted as per the previous year’s exams. The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks needed to qualify a particular stage of IBPS Clerk 2020. The cut-off of both the stages i.e. prelims & mains will be released separately.

Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will be considered for shortlisting for Interview and preparation of final merit list.
There will be negative marking for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question.
We do not claim that it will exactly be the same as we expect it to be for IBPS can surprise candidates with a changed face of banking examinations anytime. So, you also have to prepare yourself for all sorts of bombshells that can be dropped by IBPS when IBPS PO 2019 is conducted..
The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The qualifying marks in the interview are 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (Main exam) and interview for final merit list will be 80:20 respectively.

Professional Knowledge test for this post is a test of Hindi Language, the syllabus includes Reading Comprehension (related to women empowerment), Grammar, Synonym (पर्यायवाची), Translation and Word Meaning. As it is a test of Hindi language and translation, candidates should be well versed with Hindi Grammar and build their vocabulary.
As per the official notification released by IBPS, it will bring out the result mains examination in the month of February 2019. The final results after the conduct of interview process will be declared in the month of April this year.

A candidate must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate must have passing certificate.
An Office Assistant in Regional Rural Bank can get a basic salary of ₹15000 to ₹19000 during the training period. After training period, the perks and emoluments may depend upon the performance of the candidate and it may also vary from bank to bank.
An Officer Scale-I in Regional Rural Bank can get a basic salary of ₹22,000 to ₹25000. Various allowances are also added onto as the salary components after which the salary may range from ₹33,000 to ₹37,000. The salary can also vary according to the place of posting and from one bank to another.

Penalty for Wrong Answers : (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)
There as a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Online Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question was deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. No marks are deducted for un-attempted questions.
