Educational Qualifications :

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • Basic knowledge of computers is a must.
  • The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark-sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute.

LEVEL OF EXAMS :

PHASE-I : PRELIMINARY (OBJECTIVE) :

SBI PO is a three-tier exam i.e. preliminary exam, main exam followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview. Following is the expected exam pattern of SBI PO 2021 according to the previous year’s notification.

Candidates have to qualify for the test by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. There will be no sectional cutoff. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) are shortlisted for the Main Examination.

PHASE-II : MAINS EXAMINATION PATTERN (OBJECTIVE) :

 Main Examination consists of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests is online. Candidates have to answer the Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of the Objective Test, Descriptive Test is administered.

Objective Test

The objective test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections for total 200 marks. The objective test has separate timing for every section. The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

Descriptive Test :

The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks is a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank. Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in the objective test.

A Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination): There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Phase – III : Group Exercises (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)

The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test are arranged in descending order in each category. The adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank are called for Group Exercises and Interview. The qualifying marks in Group Exercises & Interview are decided by the Bank.

  • The eligibility criteria are different for different positions that are filled through SBI SO 2020 exam. A candidate must fulfil the eligibility criteria for different positions for which they have applied in order to qualify for further processes.
  • Executive (FI & MM) – A candidate must have graduation in Rural Economy/ Agriculture & Allied Activities/ Horticulture as years full-time course
  • Senior Executive – (Social Banking & CSR) Basic – A candidate must have graduation (full time) in any stream and minimum 3 years of experience

Salary Package :

The basic salary of SBI SO, as mentioned in SBI SO 2018 Official Notification is Rs. 23700. Also, the SBI Probationary Officer gets 4 advanced increments of ₹980 which are added to his basic salary which finally amounts to ₹27620. Apart from the basic salary, an SBI SO also receives Dearness Allowance, City Compensation Allowance (CCA) and Special Allowance which, when added to the basic salary, amount to approximately ₹43307

SBI Clerk Age Limit (as of 01st April 2021) :

 As per the official notification released by SBI, candidates should have attained a minimum of 20 years of age, and should not exceed the age of 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02nd April 1993 and not later than 01st April 2001. Besides this, there is age relaxation relevant to category wise candidates as per the government rules:

Educational Qualifications (As on 01.01.2018) :

(a) He/she must hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
(b) Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
(c) Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post.
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is required for the SBI Clerk exam.

SBI Clerk 2021: Salary and Pay Scale :

• The pay scale of SBI Clerk has been revised by SBI this year and the new pay scale of SBI Clerk is ₹17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. Earlier, the pay scale was 11765-655/3-13730-815/3-16175-980/4-20095-1145/7-28110- 2120/1- 30230-1310/1-31450.
• This means that the starting basic salary for a candidate will be ₹17900/- with a year-on-year increment of ₹1000/- with the Basic pay while the Maximum Basic Salary of an SBI Clerk ₹47,920.
• The In-Hand Salary of SBI Clerk will include the approximate amount a candidate gets after the deductions. The starting salary of SBI Clerk is between the range of ₹26000 to ₹29000/-.

Stage–1 : IBPS PO Preliminary Examination :

IBPS PO Preliminary examination is objective type & the medium of paper is generally English. The medium for Quantitative aptitude and Reasoning Ability is both Hindi & English.

There is a provision of sectional cut-off i.e. candidates will have to qualify each section separately.

  • The descriptive test is a test of English which contains Letter Writing and Essay with 25 marks and 30 minutes duration.

Stage 2: IBPS PO Mains Examination :

IBPS PO Main Exam is both objective & descriptive in nature and is based on online mode. The objective test is 3 hours consist of 200 marks whereas the descriptive test is of 30 minutes of 25 marks.

  • Note : Only the marks of mains and interview is calculated for the overall merit list. Prelims marks are just qualifying in nature.

 In case of dual specialisations, one of the fields of specialisation should be in the field prescribed. In case of major / minor specialisations, major specialisation should be in the stream prescribed. Candidates having PG Degree (MMS or MBA) / PG Diploma with more than two specialisations are not eligible to apply.

NOTE : For posts other than IT Officer Scale I: Candidates should have Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / Language / should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School / College / Institute.

Age Criteria :

  • Age of a candidate will be calculated as per the month of November 2019. The maximum and minimum age is given below.

Salary Package :

As per the IBPS SO 2020 Notification, the salary of a person appointed as a Specialist Officer in IBPS varies from ₹36,000 to ₹64,000. Candidates are advised to consider this year’s official notification which is yet to be released.

  • IBPS Clerk in-hand salary is ₹18000 to ₹21000 during the training period, It is the starting salary of IBPS Clerk. After the training period, the perks and other benefits are added and which may vary from bank to bank. The Basic Salary Component of Bank Clerk may vary in the range of ₹11,500 – ₹13,000. (with a scope of promotion.)

IBPS Clerk is also liable to get other allowances besides salary which depends on the place of posting. These other allowances like TA, DA, HRA are added in the salary and the total amount is what a person under IBPS Clerk gets in hand.

Eligibility Conditions :

  • Every year Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection releases the notification for the recruitment of clerk, this year as well IBPS has released its official exam calendar for the year 2021-22. The recruitment is done to recruit the clerk for various public sector banks. This is the 11th year of IBPS Clerk recruitment and hence named as IBPS CRP XI.
  • All those students who are preparing for the examination are well aware about the selection process of the IBPS Clerk. The recruitment is done based on the preliminary examination and mains examination. Students have to qualify both the examinations to get appointed in the examination.

IBPS Clerk 2021 Exam Dates :

    • IBPS Clerk preliminary exam 2021 will be held on 3 days followed by IBPS Clerk Mains 2021 on a single day. IBPS Clerk exams dates as given in the IBPS Clerk notification are 12th December, 13th, and 19th December 2020 while the mains examination will take place on 24th January 2021.

IBPS Clerk Cut Off 2020

The following is the IBPS Clerk Mains cut off for CRP-IX released with the final result on 20 May 2020.

IBPS Clerk cut-off will be out after the examination. However, cut-off can be predicted as per the previous year’s exams. The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks needed to qualify a particular stage of IBPS Clerk 2020. The cut-off of both the stages i.e. prelims & mains will be released separately.

Salary Package

  • An Office Assistant in Regional Rural Bank can get a basic salary of ₹15000 to ₹19000 during the training period. After training period, the perks and emoluments may depend upon the performance of the candidate and it may also vary from bank to bank.
  • An Officer Scale-I in Regional Rural Bank can get a basic salary of ₹22,000 to ₹25000. Various allowances are also added onto as the salary components after which the salary may range from ₹33,000 to ₹37,000. The salary can also vary according to the place of posting and from one bank to another.

IBPS RRB Assistant/Officer Scale-I 2021 Exam Dates :

  • IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I Preliminary exam is scheduled to be held on 1st, 7th and 8th August 2021 and the mains exam is to be conducted on 25th September 2021. The Sinlge exams for IBPS RRB Scale-II and III are to be held on 25th September 2021.
  • IBPS RRB Office Assistant Preliminary exam is scheduled to be held on 14th and 21st August 2021 and the mains exam will be held on 3rd October 2021.
