GBS disease:

  • Recently, an outbreak of Gilan Pare Syndrome, also known as GBS, has been reported in Pune, Maharashtra.
  • An autoimmune disease occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s healthy cells.
  • GBS is a form of the disease.
  • This disease affects the nerves that run the muscles.
  • Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a rare condition that causes sudden numbness and muscle weakness that can affect most of your body.

The Axiom Project 4:

  • Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who was selected by ISRO to travel to the International Space Station in collaboration with NASA, has been announced as the pilot of the project.
  • The four astronauts selected for Axiom 4 will be sent to the International Space Station.
  • ISRO is planning to send humans to space this year under the Gaganyaan program.
  • Four students were selected and trained for the program.

Budget Session:

  • The Budget session of Parliament will begin on January 31 and end on April 4.
